HP Police Constable Recruitment 2021 Educational Qualification:
Interested Candidate must have passed 12th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University. If the candidate belongs to the Ex-Serviceman category, then he/she should have passed Matrix. Selection Procedure:
Selection of HP Police Constable recruitment is based on written exam , Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical examination .
- Written Examination details: There will be 80 questions in the exam, in which each question will be of 1 mark and there will be a total of 80 marks. This exam will be of total 60 minutes. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for SC/ST and 50% for other categories. It will consist of objective type questions from the following Subjects:
English Language : 10+2 standards (No. of Questions 16)
Hindi Language : 10+2 standards (No. of Questions 16)
General Awareness : 10+2 standards (No. of Questions 16)
Math and Science : Science (10+2 standards) and Math (10th Standards) (No. of Questions 16)
Reasoning Aptitude : 10+2 standards (No. of Questions 16)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates have to clear the following events .

Minimum Physical Qualification:
- Height (Inches) : Minimum 5′-6″ (Male) and 5′-2″ CMs (Female) for General category. Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation heights mentioned in notification.
- Weight (KG) : Per medical standard
- Chest (Inches) : Minimum 31″X32″ for General category. Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation chest mentioned in notification. Chest measurement for female candidates will not be taken.
