SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Recruitment 2022:
SSC released New Notification for stenographer on 20th August 2022. The applications will be accepted from 20th August 2022 to 5th September 2022. Interested candidates can apply for Stenographer Grade C and Grade D positions. Candidates must submit their application till September 05, 2022 .
- The SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam 2022 will be conducted on November 2022.
- The selection process comprises two stages, computer-based test(CBT) followed by a Skill test in stenography.
- The number of vacancies are not announced yet. It is expected to be announced shortly by SSC.

Number of Vacancies:
- The number of vacancies are not announced yet. It will be determined in due course. Updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission.
Age limit(as on January 01, 2022):
- For Grade ‘C’, the required age is from 18 to 30 years.
- For Grade D, the required age is from 18 to 27 years.
- Permissible relaxation in upper age limit as specified in the official notification.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Selection Process:
The SSC Stenographer exam 2022 will be conducted in two stages:
- Computer Based Online Test (CBT)
- Skill test
There is no interview process in the recruitment.
- The Computer-based test (CBT) is a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) test.
- The exam will be in bilingual mode , i.e both in English and Hindi.(Except for the English Language and Comprehension part).
Application Fee:
- Rs. 100 for General and OBC Candidates
- No fee for SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and Women Candidates

Skill Test
For the Skill test:
- A dictation of 10 mins in English/Hindi with a speed of 100 w.p.m (Words per minute) for Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m for Grade ‘D’.
- The Candidates will then have to transcribe the dictation on the computer on time. The time given will be:
- For Grade D: 50 min for English, 65 min for Hindi
- For Grade C: 40 min for English, 55 min for Hindi
Time Duration (in minutes) for the candidates eligible for scribe
- For Grade D: 70 min for English, 90 min for Hindi
- For Grade C: 55 min for English, 75 min for Hindi
Note- There will be only 1 dictation of 10 minutes for the skill test.

How to Apply:
All the eligible candidates for SSC recruitment can apply through official website https://ssc.nic.in on time to avoid the traffic on the last date.
- First Visit Official Website.
- To Register as a new candidate click on the Register button and fill the basic details.
- Save the basic details.
- User ID and password will be generated from SSC.
- Fill the additional details after the generation of User ID.
- One can make the payment through online or offline mode(via challan).
- After completing the payment, save the payment slip to your computer.
- After payment the application form must be completed.
- You must upload all of the desired scanned documents in the mandatory file type and size.
- You must preview the application form after that.
- After submitting, keep the copy of application form for further use.
